Policy Brief – Advancing institutional delivery in remote Nepal: Way towards safe motherhood

This policy brief presents evidence and lessons learned from Adara’s partnership with government across five health facilities in Humla. It highlights practical approaches that have contributed to increased institutional delivery in one of Nepal’s most remote districts and identifies key investments required to ensure that women and newborns in hard-to-reach areas can access safe, respectful and high-quality maternal healthcare.
